The Rotary Club of Nashua West made a difference for fifty Nashua area children and their families this past holiday season.
The club, working with the Front Door Agency, a local organization assisting women and families with transitional housing and programs which target needs to avoid homelessness, has donated hundreds of dollars of specified clothing and gifts to children identified through this nonprofit organization.
Members of the Rotary Club are each assigned a child and work to find and fulfill the wishes and the items chosen by that child. Gifts can range from necessary clothing, shoes and boots, outdoor clothing, games, and bicycles to name a few of the requested items. In addition, club members added a special gift card just for the family to purchase groceries and other critical items.
