Adoptions are underway for the Rotary Club of Nashua West’s 6th annual Duck Festival and fundraising event. Thousands of toy rubber ducks will once again be “quackin’ down the river” as they make their way downstream on Saturday, October 14th in Renaissance Park located in Nashua.
Prize money will be awarded to entrants purchasing the first three lucky ducks to cross the finish line. $2500 for first place, $1000 for second place and $500 for third place. Entries can be purchased for $5 a chance or can be purchased as adoption packages: a six quack for $25, a quackers dozen for $50 or a flock for $100 by visiting http://www.nashuaduckderby.com or in person from one of our club members.
Proceeds from this event will benefit forty area nonprofit organizations, provide $15K in scholarships for qualified high school seniors, and allow our club the opportunity to support international humanitarian programs.
The event will include numerous free activities for children and families, including games, food trucks and live music.
