The Rotary Club of Nashua West made a difference for fifty-three Nashua area children and their families this holiday season.
The club, working with the Front Door Agency, a local organization assisting women and families with transitional housing and programs which target needs to avoid homelessness, has donated specified clothing and gifts to children identified through this nonprofit organization.
Members of the Rotary Club are each assigned one or more children and work to find and fulfill their wishes. Gifts can range from necessary clothing, shoes and boots, outdoor clothing, games, and bicycles to name a few of the requested items. In addition, club members add a special gift card just for the family to purchase groceries and other critical items.
